Report of sexual assault

POLICE need witnesses after a sexual assault was reported next to Bank Quay train station.
The incident happened on Tuesday at 8.30pm when a 31-year-old St Helens woman says she was attacked in an alleyway off White Street.
She described her attacker as a 23-year-old man, around 6ft 6ins tall, of thin build and dressed in a black tracksuit.
Officers want to speak to anyone approached by a woman on the station platform at around 9pm.
The Llandudno to Manchester train and a St Helens-bound train passed through around that time.
Anyone with information can call police on 101 quoting incident 823 of January 24.
